I got new Heelys on my birthday. Heelys are shoes that you can stick a wheel in the heel and roll on it. It took time to master. My best friend, Katie, showed me how. And just recently, I was in the street and hit a bump on the road on my Heelys. I fell. When I got up, my elbow was all bloody. My phone fell out of my hand and the battery popped out of the back of my phone. I ran home as fast as I could. When I got home, I was crying. Daddy said, "What's the matter?" I said, "Boo-boo. Arm. Owie." "Let's go up and put a band-aid on it, it's okay," Daddy said. We went up and he washed all of the dirt off of my arm and put Neosporin on it. Then, he covered it with a big band-aid. I stopped crying. Tears trickled down my cheek. I thanked Daddy and hugged him. Then I ran downstairs to tell Momma what had happened.
I really didn't want a wheel on my heel anymore after that. But, I kept using them anyway. It was fun; I couldn't help it.
Today I banged my elbow on the playground equipment. I didn't say anything, I just ignored the pain. Now I look at it and say, "Ewww."

Hipster Fruits and Circuses
The minute Mommy told me that Kamryn was having surgery about a week ago...I burst into tears! I was upset that Kamryn would have to be put under that much pressure, even though she didn't know about it.
Today, Kamryn had surgery. And it was a very long wait in the hospital this morning. I missed my spelling test, but I got to take a make-up test. I also had a math test today. I checked over it two times before handing it in.
After the test, I drew a picture of a group of hip-hop fruits that I call Hipster Banana, Orange and Strawberry. In my picture, Hipster Banana and Hipster Orange are standing in front of a brick wall watching Hipster Strawberry dance on her head, while the boom box is playing music. They all wear black sunglasses and smile with their teeth showing. Me and my friend Katie Baganski worked on this together.
A day before that, I drew a picture of an elephant saying "Circuses are no fun." because in circuses, people crack whips that scare the animals and it's sort of torture to them. How would you feel if someone cracked a whip right next to your ear and it scared you and you couldn't get away from it? You tell me in your comments.

Glowing Stuff
I like my school. My teacher is Mrs. Guelzow. She's very nice. What I don't like about school is at the end of the day your hand feels like it's going to fall off because you've written so much. And the teacher does silent time where you're not allowed to talk at all. You're only allowed to write notes. The recess rules are fair because it makes it so no one can get hurt. For example, you're not allowed to aim a dodge ball at anyone's face. It could really hurt them.
Last Thursday, at school, my teacher told us instead of doing "Bloody Mary" in the bathroom, we could try opening a band-aid in a dark room with no light and it will glow. You see a very quick spark of green light. It's very cool. Another thing our teacher told us is if you take a green mint lightsaver and chew it with your mouth open in a dark room standing in front of a mirror, you'll see little sparks in your mouth.

Adventure through Florida
I had so much fun in Florida! Here's some extra sprinkles from my journal that I wrote in every day:
DAY 1 -- 7/18/07 Plane Ride 7:45 am
We had to wake up at 5:00 am. I only got about 4 hours of sleep. Aunt Donna was suppose to wake me up, but I woke her up instead. We are 3600 feet in the air. 9:10 12:55 We were up 2800. Last night I slept really good. I went in the pool for about 3 hours. I turned into a prune! We went to Panera Bread. Mom-mom had broccoli & cheddar soup. Grandma had turkey sandwhitch. So did Aunt Mariah.
Day 2 -- 7/19/07
I woke up at exactly 7:08. I went into the pool right after breakfast. I was in the pool for 1 hour. Then we went to the beach. I went far out into the water. I saw many, many fish. We also saw many, many, MANY, people. I found some seashells. Not a lot, but not a couple. Some. I had a lot of fun today.
Day 3 -- 7/20/07
I woke up around 7:30 today. Aunt Mariah and I went to the dock in the morning. Soon after that we went in the pool. Later we went to Aunt Mariah's friend Sydny's house. She was snotty in my opinion. She had 2 younger sisters, Keera and Naomi. Naomi is 9 and Keera is 5. Then we went to G-G's, only for a few minutes. As we were walking home we saw Aunt Bobby and Uncle Bob. pop-pop gave us a ride all the way to my 2nd house! I had so much fun today.
Day 4 -- 7/21/07
Today I went to an Air Show. An Air Show is when about 13 jets INCLUDING THE BLUJE ANGELS do tricks in the air. We go up at 6:30 am in the morning. We got lots of souvineers. I also found some microscopic seashells. The Blue Angels were so loud we had to ear ear plugs! We left at 4:00 pm. After dinner, we went in the pool. I had so much fun today.
Day 5 -- 7/22/07
Today I went to church. After that, nothing really happened. After dinner Uncle James, me, Aunt Mariah, and Uncle Scott went fishing. Every fish we were close to catching took our hot dog and left! We did catch a huge sea turtle under 400 lbs! I caught a few little crabs! I had fun today.
Day 6 -- 7/23
Today I didn't really do anything. I hung out with Uncle Justin. We played X-treme Jenga. Aunt Mariah and I played Sorry. That's pretty much it. I didn't really have that much fun today.
Day 7
Today I went shopping for souvineers. After dinner, Uncle James, Aunt Mariah, and I played volleyball. Immediately after that we played soccer. Soon after a lesson of soccer, Amanda, Justin and me went to the dock. I found out that Amanda doesn't like crabs. I had fun today.
Day 8 -- 7/25/07
Today I went to the beach. A shark was under my boat. We think it was a nurse shark. We found so many beautiful shells. Amanda came over. We ordered a pizza only for Amanda, Justin, and I. We watched CLICK. Oh! We played horseshoes at the beach. Mom-mom won. I lost. I had fun today.
Day 9
Today I went to 4 different stores to find 1 jacket. We ended up getting a grey jacket with "Lifeguard" printed on it. We had waffles, pancakes, and bacon for dinner! Then me and Aunt Mariah went to a park. After that we went to G-G's. I came home to swim with Uncle Scott. Aunt Mariah and Uncle James snuck up on us. Scared us half dead. Well, me actually. I had...well, you know the rest and blah, blah, blah!
I had so much fun in Florida. Thank you so much Mom-mom and Pop-pop DiPilla for letting me stay there.
